			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Looking at my blog-to-calendar ratio for July I&#8217;ve come to the conclusion that I&#8217;ve fallen behind.  In an effort to squeeze one last measly post in before I go to bed, I&#8217;ll add this self reminder to this month&#8217;s meager lot:</p>
<blockquote><p>I need to prune my Google Reader this weekend.  I&#8217;ve been using it as a big <strong>feed dump</strong> and I&#8217;m not keeping up with half of it.  It needs a meat and potatoes kinda layout.  The problem?  Websites that update multiple times a day are overwhelming my &#8216;unread&#8217; numbers after a mere week.  I don&#8217;t need to feel like I&#8217;m falling behind and much of the content is not worth sifting through anyway.</p></blockquote>
<p>There you have it.  And may this short note serve as an organizational reminder for those, like me, who have saved too much for their own good.</p>
