My wife points out the irony of a recent freezing rain storm that left many without electricity and created a predicament for the Ann Arbor skating rink – not enough power to make ice. Closed until further notice.

The Day Before…
The day before going back to work after a long vacation. It’s like a non-vacation day. Because all day long you’re thinking of your first day back to work. I don’t mind my job – in fact I like it, but after 12 days off it just feels weird. I did two things today I haven’t done in all that time off.
1) Iron
2) Set my alarm clock.
I will definitely miss my wife and kid. I’ve been spoiled spending so much time with them. That makes every weekday at 5:00 p.m. that much sweeter.
Daily Diversion: Falling Sand Game

Items Of Note
Congratulations to our good friends Kathy and Todd on the birth of their second child, Mitchell Wesley! Ruby has a playmate now!
We are headed over to see them on Sunday to view their new bundle of decibel cranking joy. We are very excited for them! Hopefully I’ll have some pictures soon.
Air Show today! Perfect weather will allow us to see the radio controlled flights of The Hamburg Flyers RC Club. Grandpa Joel will be working the event (as he is a builder and flyer of these adult toys) and Grandma Sharron is very happy that she will…
1) Get to see Mighty-Mo
2) NOT have to sit by herself while Joel works the event.
