Google Reader to Wordpress via Send-To

I’m trying out a new Google (News) Reader ‘Send-To‘ feature that will allow me to effortlessly send source and article links to my blog.  I found the instructions on how to accomplish this at Thingelstad.com.  There are a couple of things that need to be tweaked, but the main functionality is there.  It would be great if Google offered the ability to highlight text from the Reader to be sent to a WordPress blog.

Since I’m on a covert campaign to sway the powers at AnnArbor.com to switch from MovableType over to Wordpress as a blogging platform, I thought I’d try out my Google Newsreader ’send to’ ditty and share this article from Weblog Tools Collection here.

“eBay, Yahoo, Digg, Ford, Wall Street Journal, Sony, People Magazine, Samsung, Playstation, New York Times, Mozilla Firefox, CNN, Flickr, General Electronic are some of the most prominent brands that use WordPress as a blogging platform…”

“University of Florida, Duke University, Harvard Law School, Cornell University, University of California, MIT, Texas Tech University, University of Virginia, Oregon State University, University of Melbourne, University of Berlin and Boston University are some of the universities that use WordPress.”
