My allergies (anything airborne) are really getting the best of me this season. I bought a 40 count package of Claritin to carry in my backpack. I was soon annoyed by the fact that, like most packaging these days, the box was much bigger than the contents and once opened, did not re-close. Inside were several ‘blister pack’ cards that contained individually perforated pills. Each card had extra sections that did not contain any pills, so I tore those off and discarded them. Now I was left with half-cards with one empty square on each. Enter the hole punch and binder ring.
I’m sure you’re already there with me, but I snapped a couple of shots for the visually oriented readers out there.

Next, the professional whole punching:

Followed by the insertion of the binder ring:

Simple as that. Now I can toss this into my backpack, tear off pills as needed (every 24 hours), I don’t have to deal with an oversized box that won’t re-close, or pills scattered everywhere. I’m aware that this may not work on every product out there as packaging differs from brand to brand.
What do you do with your pills / medication to make it easy to carry or organize?
