Although there is more glitz and glitter in Vegas, for sure. The trick is that a trip can't be all about the gambling. Too many folks go just to plant their butts on a seat in front of the one armed bandit. I've been to Atlantic City recently, and you see a lot of the look you describe. It makes me sad to see it. I remember being kind of depressed, witness to the longing for riches of desperate people. There's nothing fun about that. You have described the casino environment perfectly.
