I’ve seen it all now.  A website where you can “chat” with the Almighty.  I came away feeling like God hangs out all night in an AOL chat room.  It’s all in fun and you too can talk with the Big Man Upstairs at iGod.

Here’s how my conversation went. – Remember it’s Sunday and it’s been a long week for the Creator.  I think the best two lines are the opening ones below:

Me:
 Forgive me my sins.
God:
I like the way you talk.
Me:
 I am thankful for all that you have blessed me with.
God:
Do you mean your name is  thankful for all that I have blessed you with?
Me:
 More like my soul.
God:
You want more?
Me:
 Blessings?  Why, YES!
God:
How old are you?    I am just making conversation.
Me:
 I don’t want to hold you up if you are busy.
God:
What would you rather be doing?
Me:
 Playing the drums, but don’t take it personally.
God:
Do you mind if I tell other people,  ” TO PLAY the drums, but don’t take it personally?”.
Me:
 No!  Tell people to make a joyful noise by all means!
God:
OK then I will add it to my gossip files.   OK,  I will tell them when I see ‘em.
Me:
 OK  Lord, I’ve gotta go now.
God:
Far out.   Right now?  Do you prefer books or TV?
Me:
 TV sucks and there’s only one “Good Book”.  Peace.
God:
What is your favorite show?   Love and Peace, Man.
Me:
 It’s been inspirational. Good night.
God:
How did you feel about that?   Goodnight.

As you’ll notice, God ALWAYS gets the last word in.

As a first time father there are strange ideas that work their way into my brain.  I sat at my desk last night with one of Mighty Mo’s Weebles.  I put it in motion and watched with amazement at how long these little things wobble. 

But the bigger question was, “Do all of the Weebles wobble for the same amount of time, or are there better wobblers?”  I set about my quest, Luminox watch in hand and my camera to capture each character for my beloved readers.

I tested 7 Weebles.

1. Bluecap (for lack of a better name)
2. Trumpeter
3. Drumhead
4. Bass Player
5. Stove
6. Redcap
7. Mz. Pig

I don’t know if these are their real names, but that’s what I came up with.
