30 mature oak trees makes for lots-o-raking. It’s a good thing we (read: Mz.D) kept up with the bumper crop of acorns that fell a few weeks ago so we wouldn’t have the burden of both. Looking skyward doesn’t help…the trees are still heavy with withering leaves and we are outnumbered with more to come. [image:139]Nice temps (low 60′s) with little wind and plenty of sunshine made for a great day to rake the yard. We started around 8:30 and finished up around 2:30pm. This picture shows the long pile of oak leaves we burned. Thanks to K-ma for watching the beast while we collected deciduous droppings.
