Babies and Bird Watching
October 21st, 2005 by Geaked

[image:134:l]Mason is crawling, crawling, crawling. He uses some sort of hybrid combat crawl, which incorporates the use of his forearms for forward propulsion along with his splayed legs for extra oompf. Once he has arrived at a launching site, he’s very interested in pulling himself up to a standing position to look around. Alot of work for an 8 month old. It even has me huffing and puffing just watching him.

He wears white athletic socks that have a blue toe and heel. I often look up, only to catch a glimpse of his legs and feet as he moves about. Like a nautical flag, the blue and white markings of his socks alert me to his locale.
It’s a bit like bird watching: There he is! The Blue Spotted Mighty Mo!
Then as quick as as a bird moves to a new perch, he disappears behind a chair, a sofa, or turns the corner to explore his world.

That, my friend, is a spectacular picture.
