After contemplating my last post, I got to thinking about how one might attempt to involve humor in the response to current events (The Onion, as usual, is making a concerted effort). Although I don’t believe I’ve personally had much success, I did attempt to at least write a limerick, and would welcome other contributions in this format from my readers.
There once was a city called NOLA,
Made of black, white and brown (and Creolea);
But a federal mistake
caused its levee to break,
and poor Bush can’t pin this on Osama.
